The resort is a founding and active member of Mamanuca Environment Society. Continual efforts are made to reduce waste, energy and water consumption, produce is grown hydroponically on the property and non-biodegradable chemicals are being phased out. Employment is created for locals, with special consideration going to villagers from nearby Korovuto, and staff are educated in ecotourism principles.
