Kyle Jacobs, a songwriter and producer in the country music industry, has died at the age of 49. Jacobs was best known for his work as a producer, working with artists such as Garth Brooks, Kelly Clarkson, Darius Rucker and Tim McGraw. He won an Academy of Country Music Award in 2014 for his work as a producer on Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck.” In addition to his work as a producer, Jacobs was also a songwriter and performer in his own right, often sharing updates on his musical collaborations on Instagram.
