Installation
After downloading the ZIP file,
1. Log in to Wordpress' administrator panel.
2. Go to Plugins Add > New > Upload.
3. Click “Choose file” (“Browse”) and select the downloaded zip file.
For Mac Users:
Go to your Downloads folder and locate the folder with the plugin. Right-click on the folder and select Compress. Now you have a newly created .zip file which can be installed as described here.
4. Click “Install Now” button.
5. Click “Activate Plugin” button to activate the plugin.
Note: If the installation does not succeed, please post your issue at our Support Forum.

How to set external url as a featured image?
Once the plugin is activated, you don't need to setup anything. It will automatically create an insert from url field inside the Featured Image box in post/pages editor.
To set a featured image from an external url, just enter the image's url on the Insert from URL field then save your work by either saving it as Draft or Publishing it.
How to remove featured image from external url?
To remove the featured image from external url, just delete the entire url in the Insert from URL field in the featured image box of your post/page editor, then save your work by either saving it as Draft or Publishing it.
