  • I offer software for a project from 2018 for sports such as Airsoft, Paintball. In DOMINATOR, the project replaces pen and paper with a physical device that uses access cards to initialize the team that took the point and then start the stopwatch.

    Description:
    • Device - DOMINATOR contains a control microcontroller (Arduino Uno, Nano, or Mega 2560).
    • The display shows the times of the individual teams (RF and GDP teams.)
    • Each member of the team is equipped with a card or key fob that communicates on 13.56MHz. Keychains can be color-coded (blue, red ...)

    If a team scores a point, any player on that team attaches their card to the reader. The diode of the team (red / blue) will light up at this station and the time for the team will start to be added.

    If the point is occupied by the other team and a member of that team attaches his card, the diode of that team lights up, the time of the other team is paused and the time of the team that occupied the point is counted.

    If the card / keychain is attached by the organizer (referee), both times are paused until one of the teams presents the card.

    The last possible card in the system is the use of so-called eraser card that pauses and resets both times.

    The maximum time range of the system is: 99 hours 99 minutes 59 seconds, so it is also suitable for events and sports facilities. The system is tested, functional, works without problems, the ability to measure and display time even in tenths of a second.

    The RC522 reader works at a frequency of 13.56MHz, registers RFID tags at approx. 3 centimeters (almost physical contact with the reader is required), compatible ISO / IEC 14443 A tag format.

    Hardware used for the project - must be procured:
    • Arduino Uno / Nano / Mega
    • RFID RC522
    • 2x LED
    • LCD display 16x2 / 20x4 with I2C converter
    • compatible cards and key fobs
